Nikki Cristobal is a third-year Ph.D. student in Social Comparative Analysis in Education and a K. Leroy Irvis Fellow. Her research centers on , Kanaka epistemologies, Womxn of Color collective bridge building, blended theories, and humanization in higher education. She was born and raised on the island Kaua’i, Hawai’i, where she served as a social worker/ therapist for foster youth & survivors of domestic violence/ sexual assault prior to coming to Pitt.
